So many years even as adults we would drag all the kids home to Ninas for those parties with the family. I will miss her laugh, her smile, her love. My Father had a heart attack on Saturday morning. As my siblings and I gathered I thought of all the things I wanted to remember about my Dad. Growing up in my family, the laughter, the tears and dreams we all shared. </div><div>To pass the time in the hospital, I took out my quilting from my bag. As I sat and appliqued on a quilt block.</div><div>It dawned on me.............quilts do go on and on. They all tell a story in some way for the next generation to see. Children will sleep under it, grandchildren will comfort themselves with it. Just getting out from under paper work from the great show in Long Beach. It was so good to see everyone. I wish I had more time to visit. The show was beautiful I am always <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">amazed</span> at all the creativity in <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">every</span> stitch.<br />While sitting in the studio yesterday the earth moved. (Wish it was from some great creative idea forming ) But it was the Chino earthquake. No damage here just to the nerves. My <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">friend</span> Marsha lives in the center of it. She had small breakage of dishes but her family was fine. It will be 104 here at 1/4 Inch Ranch in Lake ELsinore.
