Cabin
Just returned from my Dad's cabin in Forest Falls Ca. Was very relaxing and enjoyed a local after the 4thbarbecue. After looking at all those great pines, makes me want to pick up a pencil and make a new pattern design.
From my studio to the travels of a Quilter. Come join me as I........
Read, Write and Dream.
In 1977 I was introduced to the quilting world by my friend's mother Ellen. I loved the thought of painting with fabric. So I rushed down to the local dime store T,G & Y. And brought my thirty nine cent polyester fabric, three inch batting ( children freeze in California) and flannel backing and proceeded to make my first quilt. As you can imagine a giant flourescent waffle appeared. She then suggested I take a class. At the local adult school I took my first sample class.
In 1996 I began designing quilt patterns for you to enjoy. And in 1997 we started 1/4 Inch Publishing and published my first book "The Tortilla Quilt"
